As the young Belgian prepares to take on a home World Champs course, take a closer look at the Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL7 he'll ride on

Whether you're a big Pizza Hut fan, are secretly anti-Eddy Merckx or just love a strong cyclist, Remco Evenepoel is always a rider to watch.

Having spent most of the season refinding his form after a horrific crash at Il Lombardia last year, the 21-year-old – yes, he's somehow still only 21 – has been flying in recent weeks, taking bronze in both the European and World Championship time-trials, silver in the Euros road race as well as some impressive wins at the Tour of Denmark and in some one-day races.

He's impressed so much that he's one of the bookies' favourites to win the rainbow bands at his home World Champs road race on Sunday.

So, with boots on the ground, we decided to take a closer look at young Evenepoel's 52cm Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL7 for the big day, equipped with a no-longer-new Dura-Ace 11-speed groupset, a Pro Vibe aero handlebar and the brand new 3D printed Specialized Romin saddle.

We've also saved you the distate of viewing a full body shot of Evenepoel, as he'd decided to tuck his shorts into his legwarmers at the time of photographing. We can only apologise on his behalf.
